Meeting with St Leonard’s Hospice
Ada met with the fundraising team at St Leonard’s Hospice to chat about the exhibition. St Leonard’s Hospice is one of the three charities that the sale of the artwork is supporting. The committee meets Explore York
Today the committee met Jenny Layfield the Chief Executive Officer of Explore York Libraries and Archives. Jenny and her team have allowed YorKAOS to use their four main Explore libraries as collection points for artworks during the last two weeks in January.

An AI generated chat show about YorKAOS

First committee meeting!
Tonight we had our first committee meeting, we have decided to support two charities; St. Leonards Hospice and BBC Children In Need. We also choose our logo! It’s been a good as not all of us have met before….and we only young.

Rise of the vandals
Today Ada visited the Rise of the vandals art exhibition, she talked to a lot of artists and bought an autographed print from Lincoln Lightfoot. Ada got some contact details for artists and DJs… might come in handy!

An idea is forming….
May was a busy time for Ada as she trained and fundraised for The Great Selby Bike Ride, cycling over 45 miles on one of the hottest days of the year.

In April most of the Committee attended the York Open Studios weekend’s, little did we know that it would inspire us to create YorKAOS. John (Ada’s dad, who would become the YorKAOS secretary) gave the opening speech to the YOS artists at the Hospitium.
